Q: Why is CECU changing our Visa credit card services?
A: The credit union wants cardholders to have access to the most convenient, secure and beneficial services possible. The new Visa cards will provide just that! For instance, you will now be able to view your CECU Visa Credit Card account along with the rest of your financial data on Virtual Branch. You can even make payments in a snap with immediate fund transfers from your checking or savings account.
As an additional benefit, members will have the opportunity to choose their personalized cardholder benefits. The cash-back option will still exist, but you can now opt to receive rewards points redeemable for merchandise, travel, electronics and much more!

Q: When is my new card coming?
A: Your new card will be mailed on June 14. It will take seven to ten business days before the card reaches your mailbox, so please be patient. Do call the credit union at (573) 522-4000 or (888) 897-2323 if you haven’t received your card by June 28.

Q: When do I start using my new card?
A: Your new card will not be valid until June 28. Remember, you will need to call the number printed on the sticker affixed to your card to activate it.

Q: What am I supposed to do with my old card?
A: Your current card will be the only valid card until June 26. Even if you receive your new card before then, do not destroy the old card until that date. Wait until after June 26 to shred your current Visa.

Q: Will I still be able to access my old credit card records?
A: Your past statements and old credit card records will always be available at the credit union. However, access to your old Visa card information through the CECU website and EZ Card Info will end on June 24. If you need those documents for your records or reference, we recommend that you visit EZ Card Info prior to June 24 and print off the statements.
