Conservation Employees' Credit Union, your member-owned financial institution, is committed to providing you financial products and services that meet your needs.We are equally committed to protecting our members’ privacy.We are required by law to give you this privacy notice to explain how we collect, use and safeguard your personal financial information. Information We Collect and Disclose About You
We collect nonpublic, personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as: your name, address, social security number, assets and income.
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as: your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions and credit card usage.
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as: your creditworthiness and credit history.
  • Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other forms. This may be obtained from your current or past employers, or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions.

We may disclose all the information we collect, as described previously, to companies that perform marketing
services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. To protect our members' privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protection and limit the use of information we provide.We do not permit these companies to sell the member information we provide to third parties.

In order to conduct the business of the credit union, we may also disclose nonpublic, personal information about you under other circumstances as permitted or required by law. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of our credit union, follow your instructions as you authorize or protect the security of our financial records.

If you terminate your membership with Conservation Employees' Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.

How We Protect Your Information
Conservation Employees' Credit Union restricts access to your personal and account information to those
employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.We maintain physical,
electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic, personal
information.

What You Can Do to Help Protect Your Privacy
Conservation Employees' Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of our members. Members can help by following these simple guidelines:

Protect your account numbers and card numbers. Never keep your PIN with your ATM/Debit or credit card. This could provide free access to your accounts. If your card is lost or stolen, it needs to be reported immediately to the credit union or the card processor.

Use caution when disclosing account numbers, social security numbers, etc. to other persons either in person or by phone. If you are not the person initiating the call, do not disclose personal information.

Always keep your information with us current. It is important that we have current information on how to reach you. If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity, Conservation Employees' Credit Union will attempt to contact you immediately. Conservation Employees’ Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of our members. In general, you can visit us on the World Wide Web without disclosing to us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. There are several areas, however, that will collect certain information about you.We want you to know how we handle that information.

If you visit our Web site, CECU collects and stores information on the domain you use to access our Web site,
the Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to the site and the date and time of your visit.
This information is used to measure the number of visitors to the various pages on our site to better serve our
membership.

If you send an e-mail, CECU collects and stores personally-identifying information in order to process your e-mail, form or application. This information is not sold to any third parties. Due to the volume of e-mail activity, these messages are deleted after they are answered.

If you visit a secure site, such as home banking, you will be asked for personal identification numbers which will give you access to the member-only section of our Web site. This information enables CECU to regulate entry to the member-only portions of our Web site and to measure member usage. Any identifying information gathered is not sold to third parties.

If you link to another site from any of our pages, you are leaving our site pages, and we cannot be held responsible for any information that may be gathered at a linked site.We make every effort however, to ensure
